  5. I saw the Graham Bond Organisation at the Wallington Public Hall, in Stafford Road, either in late 1964 or early 1965. It was the classic line-up of Graham, Jack, Ginger & Dick. According to a 1964 flyer for the venue (reproduced in Chris Groom's book 'Rockin' and around Croydon'), groups played on Tuesdays from 7.30 - 10.30pm with admission at 4/-. The hall is still there, halfway between Croydon and Sutton.

  6. Chris Groom's book 'Rockin' and around Croydon' lists Graham Bond at The Star Hotel, West Croydon, on February 7 1966 and also on May 23 1966. The Star Hotel had been home to the second 'Crawdaddy' Club, run by Giorgio Gomelsky, since October 23 1963 but by December 1965 it had become the 'Starlite' Club. Other groups that played there in 1966 included Zoot Money & John Mayall.
